At the heart of the narrative lies the Parliament of Owls, portrayed as the epitome of power akin to the Royal Tree, the seat of King Tula Nyongoro. Despite presenting themselves as the paragon of intellect and governance, the owls' legislative decisions consistently favor their own interests, often at the expense of other bird species within the kingdom.
The passage of bills, such as the contentious moonlight bill, reveals a culture of expedited decision-making driven by self-interest and coercion. Members of Parliament who dare to oppose or question these laws are swiftly silenced or ousted from the assembly, exemplified by the fate of Iron Lady Owl.
Enter Oyundi, the fire finch, a determined and astute female bird who recognizes the flaws within the Parliament of Owls. With the support of allies like Iron Lady Owl and various bird factions, Oyundi orchestrates a rebellion aimed at overthrowing the oppressive regime of the Royal Owl.
The death of the owls' chief propagandist, Arum Tidi, ignites further unrest among the birds, propelling Oyundi's strategic plan into action. Through cunning manipulation and the revelation of a significant secret, Oyundi orchestrates the downfall of the Royal Owl, paving the way for a more inclusive government represented by the Flock of Birds.
